Optifoam Gentle Silicone-faced Foam Wound Dressings

This advanced multi-layer foam dressing is designed for the management of partial and full-thickness wounds, including lacerations, abrasions, pressure injuries, leg ulcers, donor sites, skin tears, and first- and second-degree burns. It features a superabsorbent Liquitrap™ core that absorbs wound exudate, converts it into a gel, and locks it away to maintain an optimal healing environment. The dressing incorporates a gentle silicone adhesive border that allows for secure placement, repositioning, and easy removal while minimizing skin trauma. A waterproof outer layer protects the wound from external contaminants and bacteria, and the moisture vapor transmission rate (MVTR) adjusts to fluid levels to enhance breathability. The low-profile, highly conformable design ensures comfort and flexibility, conforming to body contours and allowing wear times of up to seven days depending on exudate levels. This sterile, latex-free dressing is not suitable for third-degree burns or lesions with active vasculitis.
