Optifoam Gentle Silicone-faced Foam Wound Dressings

This premium medical-grade dressing features a five-layer construction with a superabsorbent core that absorbs wound exudate, converts it into a gel, and securely locks it away to support advanced wound care management. The dressing incorporates a silicone-faced foam layer with a gentle silicone adhesive border, allowing for easy repositioning and gentle removal while minimizing discomfort and trauma to surrounding skin.

Its low-profile, highly conformable design enhances flexibility and comfort, conforming to body contours and adjusting moisture vapor transmission rate (MVTR) according to fluid levels to improve breathability. The waterproof outer layer protects wounds from external contaminants and bacteria. This dressing is indicated for partial and full-thickness wounds with heavy drainage, including pressure injuries, leg ulcers, donor sites, lacerations, abrasions, skin tears, and first- and second-degree burns. It is not recommended for third-degree burns or lesions with active vasculitis.
